A colored photo-etched set from the Czech brand Eduard, from the Zoom range, for plastic models of the SBD-5 Dauntless carrier dive bomber in 1:48 scale. This is not a kit but an accessory that raises the fidelity of the interior. The parts are pre-printed in color and self-adhesive.
The SBD Dauntless was an American two-seat carrier dive bomber with a long glazed canopy for the pilot and the rear gunner. The open interior lets the colored etched details show to good effect.
The set brings a colored instrument panel, side panels and seat belts, and where applicable elements for the rear gunner's station. Separate the self-adhesive parts with tweezers and press them onto a degreased surface; metal parts without adhesive are attached with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package; the set requires a matching base kit in the given scale.
