Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German heavy eight-wheeled armored car Sd.Kfz.232 in 1:48 scale from the Military Miniature range from Tamiya. The model captures the characteristic angular armored outline, drive on all eight wheels and the large frame (bedstead) antenna of the radio set, typical of this radio version. A commander figure and several marking variants are included. The exact package contents are not stated here.
The Sd.Kfz.232 belonged to the family of Sd.Kfz.231 heavy armored cars, which German reconnaissance units used widely in the first half of the Second World War. The 232 version carried a powerful radio set and a large frame antenna above the hull. The car had drive and steering on all eight wheels, driving positions at the front and the rear, and reached a high speed on the road, which made it a fast reconnaissance vehicle.
First assemble and paint the chassis and the wheels before you close up the hull. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, and attach the fine frame antenna with care only at the end of the build. Apply a primer and the paints with an airbrush, and apply the decals after a gloss clear coat. Pick out the panel details with a wash and finish the surface with dust and mud effects in pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
