Seatbelts IJN 1:48: a colored photo-etched set of seat belts from Eduard for models of the aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set of seat belts from Eduard in 1:48 scale, in a pre-painted colored version. The belts match the cockpit equipment of the aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service (IJN) from the period of the Second World War. The set is ready to fit with no need to paint the belts separately. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a cockpit.
The Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service operated a range of carrier-based and land-based fighters and bombers during the Second World War. The pilots' seats were fitted with fabric belts with metal buckles, whose colors and execution this set reproduces with printing.
The pre-painted belts are fitted to the seat in the cockpit. Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a mat and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; even the color out only gently if needed. For a natural look, bend the belts slightly.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a standalone model. It requires a corresponding base kit, which is not included in the package.
