Eduard 1:48 Spitfire Mk. IXc is a color photo-etched detail set for refining models of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IXc fighter. An aftermarket accessory, not a model in its own right.

This is not an aircraft model but a color photo-etched detail set. It serves to refine plastic models of the legendary British fighter Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IXc in 1:48 scale, above all in the area of the cockpit and small exterior details.
Typically color-printed instrument panels and panels, seat belts, elements of the seat and other fine interior parts, complemented by small exterior details. The colored photo-etched parts are ready to be glued on without further painting and they markedly raise the level of the model.
The photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife, bent in a bending tool or over a razor blade and glued with cyanoacrylate or with glue for photo-etch. The colored areas are not varnished over, only secured with matte varnish if needed.
The accessory calls for a separate plastic Spitfire Mk. IXc model in 1:48 scale; the model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
