The Eduard 1:48 Spitfire Mk.IXc late Weekend photo-etched set is a color-printed interior accessory for a model of the Spitfire Mk.IXc in the late version. It is photo-etch, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This color-printed photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard serves to refine the interior of a plastic model of the legendary fighter Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc in the late version (the form for the Weekend edition) in 1:48 scale. It is not a model and not a kit — it is a set of photo-etched parts, of which the color-printed faces such as the instrument panel and the harness immediately lift the cockpit of a model that otherwise comes without photo-etch in the basic edition.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX was a key version of the British fighter of the Second World War, which with the Merlin 60 series engine gave the Spitfire back its advantage at altitude. The late variants of the Mk.IXc were marked by a range of detail changes and they were among the most widespread Spitfires of the end of the war.
The color instrument panel and the belts are not oversprayed and they are glued with a tiny drop of cyanoacrylate. Make the bends along the etched grooves. The set is an ideal accessory exactly for the simpler editions of the model, which lack factory photo-etch. Work with tweezers and under a magnifier.
The accessory comes as a set of photo-etched parts. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
