A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from Print Scale, the second part of the series devoted to the fighter aces who flew the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V. It offers national insignia, codes and personal markings. It serves as an alternative or a supplement to the kit decals; the airplane model itself has to be bought separately.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V was a British single-engine fighter of the Second World War powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. It was among the most numerous versions of the Spitfire and served on many fronts. The machines of individual aces carried personal markings, victory markings and squadron emblems.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat, which prevents silvering. Dip the part briefly in lukewarm water and slide it off the backing onto its place once it has softened. We recommend using a decal softener and finally sealing the surface with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
This is a set of waterslide decals, not an airplane model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
