The sheet from the French maker Syhart Decal contains the technical and safety lettering (stencils) for the Dassault Mirage 2000 aircraft across all versions, in French service as well as with export users. It is a separate set of maintenance and warning lettering; the national insignia, the codes and the unit emblems are not part of it and are completed from another sheet. The product is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a model aircraft.
A real Mirage 2000 is covered with a quantity of small lettering around the access panels, the fuel and hydraulic systems, the ejection seat and the weapons pylons. Faithful technical markings raise the realism of a model markedly. The set is conceived universally so as to serve French and export machines alike, and it is useful as a spare sheet when building several models. The instructions are multilingual.
Apply the lettering onto a smooth gloss varnish in smaller groups, with plenty of water and with a softener, so that it settles onto curved surfaces and into engraved lines without silvering. Once dry, go over it with a transparent varnish according to the sheen wanted.
This is a separate sheet of technical lettering, not a kit and not the complete markings of one machine.
