The Hauler 1:48 resin accessory set for the Steyr 1500 truck with a flatbed body in the railway form is an accessory for a plastic kit you have already bought, not a model in its own right. It makes it possible to build a less usual modification of a familiar vehicle. Target kit: Tamiya.
Responsibility details are not available.
An aftermarket resin set meant for completing and rebuilding the plastic kit of the vehicle from the brand Tamiya. The base kit is not included in the package.
The Steyr 1500 was an Austrian cargo and passenger cross-country car built in the 1930s and 1940s. It was used in many body forms, among them as a flatbed, that is, a vehicle with an open load area and drop sides. The designation for the railway form refers to a modification for running on rails, of the kind made on trucks for patrolling and transport along railway lines.
First wash the resin parts in warm water with detergent, so that the mold release agent disappears from them. Without that the paint will not take and the glue will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine-bladed saw, ideally away from your workbench, and sand wet with protection for your breathing. Resin is bonded with super glue; larger areas are worth roughening so that the joint takes better. We recommend trying the whole assembly dry and filling any gaps with putty before painting. Once assembled, give the whole a uniform primer, so that plastic and resin take the paint the same way.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit, which is not included in the package. It is supplied unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
