This is a resin accessory for a diorama, not a kit. The set contains a casting of a stove in 1:48 scale, suited to interior scenes. It is made by Firma49.
A stove brings the interior of a cottage, a workshop, a rear area or a field billet to life. As a prominent piece of furnishing it gives a scene its period atmosphere and the right sense of scale, and other props are easy to build up around it.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks away and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A cast iron look comes from a dark base, fine graphite and a hint of rust.
This is a resin accessory. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package.
