A set of photo-etched metal parts in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not an aircraft kit but a refining accessory focused on the outer surface of the airframe. It is intended for models of the two-seat Su-25UB ground-attack aircraft, or of the UBK export version.
The Sukhoi Su-25 (NATO reporting name Frogfoot) is a Soviet and Russian subsonic ground-attack aircraft intended for the direct support of ground forces. A well-armored cockpit and a robust structure let it operate low over the battlefield. The Su-25UB version is the two-seat combat trainer variant with a lengthened cockpit; the UBK is its export version.
The parts are separated with a sharp knife, bent over an edge and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with varnish. The fine grilles, flaps and items of the skin come out after being shaded with a wash. Degrease the metal areas before painting.
The accessory is supplied as a separate photo-etched set. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
