Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is intended for a plastic model of the Soviet jet fighter-bomber Sukhoi Su-7. It is not a kit or a standalone model but a set of precisely shaped masks of thin yellow kabuki masking tape. The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without lengthy hand cutting of tape.
The Sukhoi Su-7 is a Soviet single-engined supersonic fighter-bomber of the late 1950s with a strongly swept wing. It was used above all in the ground attack role and served for many years in a number of countries of the Eastern Bloc and beyond. It was valued for its rugged structure and high speed and criticized for its short range and demanding takeoff with a full load.
First degrease the glazing of the canopy and let it dry. Peel the masks off the backing, lay them on the frames of the windscreen and the hinged section and press them into the edges. Spray the paint with an airbrush in two thin coats so that it does not creep under the edge. The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub. Once the paint is dry, peel them off carefully at a shallow angle so that the fresh coat is not damaged.
The package holds the masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
