1:48 Su-7 UMK double-sided painting mask for KP

Su-7 UMK 1:48 - double-sided spray masks (Art Scale)

An accurately cut set of spray masks from Art Scale for a plastic model of the two-seat Su-7 UMK trainer in 1:48 scale. This is not a kit but a set of masking templates in quality kabuki paper. The double-sided set covers the outside and the inside of the glazing for crisp frames from both views.

The real subject

The Su-7 was a Soviet swept-wing jet fighter-bomber of the Cold War period. The two-seat training version kept its combat capability and added a second cockpit. The double glazing of the tandem canopy, with its many frames, is demanding to mask.

How to use the masks

• Transfer the numbered parts to the outside and the inside of the glazing according to the diagram.
• Lift the mask off the backing, lay it on and press the edges down thoroughly.
• Cover the rest of the glass with tape and spray in thin coats.
• Peel the masks off shortly after spraying, for crisp frame edges.

Who the set is for

• Builders of 1:48 jets who want clean frames without cutting by hand.
• Modelers who care about speed and precision in their work.

The set contains masking templates only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
