A New Ware masking set at the BASIC level for a model of the Sukhoi Su-25K ground-attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. The masks are cut from kabuki (washi) tape, they follow the shapes of the frames exactly and lift off with no adhesive residue. The BASIC level covers above all the canopy glazing and the wheel tires.
The Sukhoi Su-25, NATO reporting name Frogfoot, is a single-seat subsonic ground-attack aircraft built for the close support of ground forces. It stands out for its rugged structure, its armored cockpit and the large number of hardpoints under the wings; the Su-25K designation belongs to the export standard of the aircraft.
Lay the mask on degreased glazing, press it home and mask the lower areas with masking fluid or tape. Apply the paint in thin coats so that it does not bleed under the edge of the mask, and lift it off shortly after it has dried. Mask the wheels before the tires are sprayed.
These are self-adhesive painting masks, not a model. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
