Photo-etched parts for a model of the Soviet attack aircraft Sukhoi Su-25 in 1:48 scale; the exact contents of the fret are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Sukhoi Su-25 is a Soviet single-seat attack aircraft intended for the direct support of ground units. It was built for toughness: an armored cockpit, sturdy landing gear for operations from unprepared surfaces and plenty of hardpoints under the wing. What modelers enjoy about it is precisely that rough practicality, the grime of service and the number of small covers, grilles and linkages on its surface.
These are photo-etched parts in 1:48 scale for this type. Which areas of the machine the set covers is given in the manufacturer's instructions; check the contents of the fret and which kit the set is dimensioned for in the manufacturer's instructions. Photo-etched parts can replace plastic parts that cannot come out of a mold thin enough, and add details only a few tenths of a millimeter thick.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface rather than with pliers, so that they do not bend. Make the bends over the edge of an etch bender or a ruler, in one movement. They are glued with a small dot of cyanoacrylate applied with a pin rather than straight from the tube. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts and use a primer suitable for metal, otherwise the paint will peel off during handling.
For modelers who build the Su-25 in 1:48 scale and want to take the surface and the interior further than plastic parts allow. Because of the small parts, tweezers, a sharp blade and calm are needed. The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
