A set of turned metal barrels in 1:48 scale by the Polish manufacturer MASTER for the British fighter Supermarine Spitfire with the C type wing. It contains the barrels of the Hispano 20 mm cannons in fairings in two variants of execution as a more accurate replacement for the plastic parts. The metal parts have a more faithful shape and muzzle.
The Supermarine Spitfire was a key British fighter of the Second World War and its armament differed according to the type of wing. The universal C wing allowed various combinations of cannons and machine guns. The set replaces the plastic Hispano barrels with accurate metal parts and offers two variants for different executions.
Choose the variant that matches your model, cut the parts off the casting remains and clean them up. Fit the metal barrels in place of the plastic parts and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Apply a suitable primer to the metal before painting.
This is not an aircraft model but a supplementary set of replacement barrels. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
