The set contains color pre-printed photo-etched seat belts for the cockpits of the two-seat Spitfire Tr.9 trainer in 1:48 scale. Because this is a trainer with two seats in tandem, the set covers the belts for both positions. It is not a kit but a detail accessory replacing flat plastic belts with a faithful substitute. The STEEL version is etched on steel foil, the parts are springier and the color printing has more shades than classic brass etching.
Release the parts, shape them into a natural sag over the seats and the edges of the cockpits, and secure the buckles with a drop of super glue. The interior of the two-seat cockpit is clearly visible, so the belts are worth the trouble.
An accessory to a plastic kit; the kit itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
