Quinta Studio 3D interior Fairey Swordfish Mk.II 1:48 is a colored 3D decal of the interior on carrier decal paper. It serves as an accessory that details the cockpit of a Swordfish Mk.II model in 1:48 scale quickly and realistically.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Quinta Studio set brings factory-colored cockpit equipment printed with 3D technology on carrier decal paper. The instrument panels, side consoles and controls have real three-dimensional depth and are colored in advance, so there is no need to paint them. It is not an aircraft kit but an upgrade accessory for a plastic model of the Swordfish Mk.II biplane in 1:48 scale.
The Swordfish Mk.II was a production variant of the celebrated British carrier torpedo biplane. Compared with the first version it received a lower wing with metal skinning, which made it possible to carry underwing rockets for attacks on submarines and ground targets. The open cockpit with the crew leaves the interior well in view, so a well-worked internal fit-out makes a marked difference.
The elements have no glue of their own. Coat the surfaces of the cockpit with a gloss clear coat (Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22), cut the part out, dip it for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slide it off the paper into place; on a busy shape a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or setter, as their chemistry attacks the printed resin. The interior needs no further painting.
This is a detail set, not an aircraft model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
