About product

Eduard T-33A Shooting Star 1:48 (painting masks)

Precisely die-cut self-adhesive painting masks of the Eduard brand in 1:48 scale for masking while a model of the American T-33A Shooting Star jet trainer is painted. It is not a model but an accessory. The masks in thin kabuki tape fit the frames of the long two-seat canopy.

What the masks are for

With the masks you cover the cockpit glazing and other areas that are to stay unsprayed. On an elongated canopy with many frames the accurate cut speeds the work up markedly and gives clean, crisp edges.

The real subject

The T-33A Shooting Star was an American two-seat jet trainer derived from the P-80 fighter. It became one of the most widespread trainers of its era and in many countries it served for decades to train pilots.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers building the T-33A in 1:48 scale
  • Those who want crisp frames on a long cockpit without cutting
  • Fans of early American jet equipment
  • Everyone who wants to speed up masking the glazing

This is an accessory, not a model. The kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
