Clear Prop Models 1:48 TB.2 PE parts is a set of photo-etched metal parts for a model of the TB.2 unmanned aerial vehicle in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory that replaces coarser plastic parts with fine metal.

The set is intended for detailing a model of the TB.2 unmanned aerial vehicle in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory to a kit, not the model itself - without the base plastic model you will have no use for it. Photo-etched sheet makes it possible to produce thin-walled elements that cannot be injection-molded in plastic: meshes, brackets, thin covers and small stiffeners. On a finished model the difference shows above all where the plastic has to be markedly thicker than the scale calls for, for technical reasons.
The TB.2 is a Turkish medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicle with a high-set straight wing, a twin-boom tail and a pusher propeller at the rear of the fuselage. The design is built for long endurance at low and medium altitude. Under the wing it carries pylons for external stores, and a characteristic feature is the rotating spherical sensor turret under the front of the fuselage. Thanks to the slender airframe and the simple shapes it is a model on which fine metal detail shows clearly.
Snip the parts off the fret with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface and never tear them off - they twist easily. Level the remains of the tabs left after snipping with a fine file or a sanding sponge, because otherwise a part will not seat. Make the bends in a photo-etch bender or between two steel rules, so that the edges are sharp and straight. Degrease the metal before gluing, glue with cyanoacrylate glue or a two-part epoxy and always use a primer - paint will not hold on bare photo-etched sheet on its own.
The set is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a stand-alone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
