This is a refinement accessory for the cockpit, not a kit. Quinta Studio makes raised color 3D decals: layered, three-dimensional and pre-colored decals of instrument panels and side panels. The set is developed for the plastic model of the carrier-borne TBM-3 Avenger torpedo bomber in 1:48 scale from the maker Accurate Miniatures, or from the identical mold under the Academy brand; without the matching base kit it cannot be used.
The 3D decals are applied much like wet decals, or they are cut out and stuck straight onto the interior parts. The layered build gives the surfaces depth and a three-dimensional look without laborious hand painting. The surface will take light toning and a darkening of the panel lines.
This is an accessory for the cockpit, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
