Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger I heavy tank in 1:48 scale from the popular Tamiya military miniature line. The models in this line combine plastic with a metal weighted lower hull and offer precise fit of the parts for a quick and enjoyable build.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank in service from 1942. It became famous for its powerful 88 mm gun derived from an anti-aircraft gun and for its massive frontal armor, which made it a feared opponent on the battlefield. It was used on the Eastern and the Western Fronts and in North Africa. Because of its weight and demanding production, relatively few were built, yet it became one of the best-known tanks of the war.
Assemble and paint the running gear before you close the hull. Spray the base with primer and apply the camouflage with an airbrush. Accentuate the engraved lines with a wash and complete the dust and mud on the running gear with pigments; bring the edges and the metal contact faces to life with dry brushing. Glue the plastic parts with liquid cement and the metal lower hull with cyanoacrylate.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
