The interior of the anti-radar Tornado ECR in 1:48 scale from Quinta Studio. A colored print on a decal sheet, to which resin components belong according to the name.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds the areas of the interior printed in color on decal paper, to which resin components belong as well according to the name. The applied elements will create the equipment of the cockpit without the need to paint small displays and control panels by hand, which on a two-seat machine saves a great deal of work.
The abbreviation ECR designates the version developed for combat against ground radars. The machines were given equipment for locating and fixing sources of emission and carried anti-radar missiles, with which the defenses were destroyed before they could intervene in the fighting. The Luftwaffe brought them into service at the beginning of the 1990s; the Italian Air Force had some of its machines converted. Service over the Balkans in 1999 is among the best-known episodes in the career of this version.
Smooth the areas under the elements and spray them with a glossy coat. Immerse the cut-out piece for a few seconds, wait until it releases from the backing and transfer it with tweezers. Adjust the seating with a brush and draw off the excess water. Work with clean water only; softener would damage the printed resin. Once it has dried, a matte overspray comes in turn, and any emphasis of the controls.
This is a separate accessory. The Tornado kit has to be obtained separately.
