The U-2R is an enlarged version of the American high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft U-2. A span of over thirty meters and a slender wing close to a glider's allow it long flight at great altitudes. In 1:48 scale that gives a model with a wing that will ask for a serious amount of room in a display case.

Which kit the set is intended for and where the individual parts belong is given in the instructions from the manufacturer; photo-etched sets tend to be tied to one kit, so check that before buying.
Remove the matching plastic detail under a photo-etched part and level the surface, otherwise the part will not seat. Separate them with a sharp knife on a firm surface, sand the tabs and make the bends in a bending tool or on the edge of a steel rule. Before painting, degrease the metal and go over it with primer.
The set is for modelers who want to take the detail of this unusual aircraft higher and do not mind slower work with small parts. Unless stated otherwise, the kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery.
