Seat belts RAF late version STEEL 1:48 are pre-printed Eduard photo-etched belts on thin flexible steel for the cockpits of late British aircraft of the Second World War. It is an accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds the seat belts of the pilot's seat from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale in a steel finish. They are pre-printed photo-etched parts on thin and flexible sheet, that is a modeling accessory for sharpening a cockpit, not a kit of an airplane. Steel belts bring pre-printed coloring together with the springiness of metal and look suitably fine to scale.
They replace the simplified belts in a plastic interior and add faithful detail to the seat. The subject is the late types of seat belt used in the Royal Air Force (RAF) in the second part of the Second World War, for example on machines such as the Spitfire, the Tempest or the Typhoon.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and bend the belts into a natural sag over the seat. Steel holds its shape well and is glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The surface can be evened out with a matte clear coat.
The accessory is supplied unapplied. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
