Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:48 scale from Zimi Model that joins the Soviet and Russian off-road truck Ural-4320 with the APA-5D mobile airfield power unit. This is airfield support equipment – the APA-5D unit supplies aircraft on the ground with electric power during checks and maintenance. The set also contains 3D-printed parts, for example the oil lines. Check the exact contents of the box against the instructions.
The Ural-4320 is a widespread Soviet and later Russian off-road truck with all-wheel drive that serves as a universal platform for all kinds of bodies – from tankers through ammunition carriers to artillery tractors and workshops. The APA-5D body is a mobile ground power unit (an airfield starting and power set) that supplies combat aircraft during ground preparation and during checks of their systems.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and the fine 3D-printed parts with super glue – wash them clean before gluing. Apply a primer. Airfield equipment is usually in a uniform military green or khaki; service vehicles reward a hint of oil drips, dust and wear around the working parts. Bring out the tires and the underside with dust pigments. The combination of the truck and the power unit suits an airfield diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
