A resin kit from the Czech manufacturer Plus Model in 1:48 scale intended for more experienced modelers. It presents a light American scooter completed by a sidecar for carrying people or cargo. A compact model that fits on a small vignette and tells a story of its own at the same time.
The American army took to light scooters as an undemanding means of getting around extensive bases, airfields and ports. The variant with a sidecar widened their usefulness; it carried a second person, mail sacks or boxes of materiel. These were civilian machines adapted to military service, which went on serving out their days long after the war.
Before building, wash the resin castings free of the remains of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and glue the joints with cyanoacrylate glue. Use protection for your airways while sanding resin. Liven the basic camouflage in olive drab up with fine lightening of the upper surfaces, a dust wash and scuffs on the edges of the bodywork. The sidecar can be loaded with small cargo from modeling odds and ends, that is boxes, sacks or jerrycans.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
