Eduard V-22 Osprey masks 1:48 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the American V-22 Osprey tiltrotor. It gives crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is intended for a plastic model of the American Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft. It is neither a kit nor a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without tediously cutting tape by hand.
The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is an American tiltrotor aircraft which combines the vertical takeoff and landing of a helicopter with the ceiling and cruising speed of a conventional turboprop aircraft. The engines at the wingtips tilt from the vertical to the horizontal position. It serves to carry troops and cargo with the Marine Corps and other branches and has proved itself from land strips and from the decks of ships alike.
Degrease the extensive glazing of the pilot's cockpit carefully. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them onto the individual frames; on large areas work from one corner, so that no bubbles form. Finish off the transitions with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The masks for the wheels separate the tire from the disc. Once the paint has dried, peel them off carefully at a shallow angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
