Vickers Wellington Mk.I 1:48 - an interior photo-etched set from the manufacturer Eduard for a detailed pilot area. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
An interior photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a model of the British twin-engine Vickers Wellington Mk.I bomber in 1:48 scale, focused on the cockpit and the pilot area. The set adds fine photo-etched parts that replace the simplified plastic parts of the interior and raise the fidelity of the finished model. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory for the corresponding kit.
The Vickers Wellington was a British twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War, famous for its geodetic framework structure, which withstood considerable battle damage. The Mk.I version was among the first production machines, and the Wellington served from the beginning of the war both for night bombing and later in further roles.
First separate the photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp knife on a backing and clean them up gently. Make the bends over a bending tool or a metal ruler so that the edges stay crisp. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as the liquid cement used on plastic will not hold them. Before setting them into the cockpit we recommend painting the parts and weathering them lightly. This is work for more advanced modelers used to fine photo-etched components.
This is not a model of the aircraft but a photo-etched detail set for the corresponding kit in the given scale. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the kit itself are not included in the package.
