Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of figures of the crew of the Westland Sea King helicopter in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Black Dog. The pilot figures (the flight crew) bring the cockpit of an assembled helicopter model to life or serve in a diorama on a flight deck or at a base. The resin castings are supplied unpainted and have to be cleaned up and prepared before the build.
The Westland Sea King is the British license-built version of the American Sikorsky helicopter, deployed in the anti-submarine role, for search and rescue and for transport. The crew wore flight suits and helmets; faithful figures raise the realism of a model considerably, because an empty cockpit looks static. The set is conceived as an accessory for models of the Sea King helicopter in this scale.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the joints with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Pick out the uniforms and helmets with acrylic figure paints and work the faces up with shades and highlights; seat the figures so that they match the position of the seats and the controls in the cockpit.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and the helicopter model are not included in the package.
