1:48 scale is smaller, so little area is left on a wheel on which anything can be shown. A chain is therefore rewarding: it has a pronounced texture that is visible even on a small part, and it says unambiguously what terrain and what season a scene is set in. Try the wheel dry first and compare the diameter with the wheels on your kit; no target vehicle is specified, so it is a good idea to check the match beforehand.
