An add-on set of brackets for models of military equipment in 1:48 scale. Brackets are the small fittings with which equipment and tools are fastened to a vehicle; on a model they tend to be thin and hard to read, and that is exactly why they are often replaced with separately made parts. Which kit and which type of vehicle the set belongs to is given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
In 1:48 scale the impression a model makes is decided precisely by the fineness of the small parts. Sharp edges and the right thickness of the brackets do more at first sight than repainting the whole surface. The set suits modelers who want to move a kit above the level of the contents of the box, and also those who are building their own conception of a vehicle.
The parts are small, so work over a mat and preferably with tweezers. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest down. Suit the choice of glue to the material of the parts; super glue holds universally. Wash and degrease the surfaces before painting. Apply the paint in thin layers, so that the fine shape of the bracket is not lost in it.
The package holds the set of parts stated. A kit, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
