A set of Omask foam plugs for models of the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-7B fighter in 1:48 scale. The inserts are made of flexible EVA foam, which adapts easily to the shape of the landing gear bays and seals them safely. While the lower and upper surfaces are being sprayed, neither paint nor primer runs inside and the bays stay clean. The plugs are shaped for the Zvezda kit.
Compress the insert slightly and press it into the landing gear bay so that it seats all the way round. The material does not harm plastic and, once the spraying is done, it simply comes out. The same method works for airbrushing and for brush painting alike. Once it is out, paint the bay separately in the shade you want.
Above all for modelers spraying with an airbrush who want clean landing gear bays without laborious taping.
The set contains neither paints nor a model. It is an aid for masking a plastic kit.
