LööKplus is not a kit but a combined set of accessories for one model. Its core is the LööK set, that is a finished and pre-painted instrument panel, to which further resin parts raising the detail are added. Fitting is quick, because it does away with hand painting of small instruments, which in 1:48 scale is fairly demanding. The manufacturer is the Czech company Eduard, which with a Czech subject makes sense.
The Z-126 Trener is a piston-engined trainer of Czechoslovak design, a two-seat low-wing monoplane with fixed landing gear, which served for basic and aerobatic training. The Trener family was built in many progressively modified versions and the machines reached other countries as well, where they held on for a long time in flying club operation. On these aircraft the cockpit has a fairly clearly visible interior, so an improvement to the instrument panel really does show on a finished model.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that remains of the mold release agent disappear from them. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and sand wet with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue; ordinary cement for plastic does not etch resin. Do not overspray the painted parts; once fitted a thin layer of matte varnish is enough. Always try dry first whether the part fits into the cockpit; occasionally a piece of material has to be taken off the plastic walls. Because the cockpit on this type is clearly visible, it pays to finish the small things too, such as the belts and the side walls, and to complete the interior before you close the fuselage up.
