Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese jet aircraft prototype Nakajima Kikka in 1:48 scale from the Japanese maker FineMolds. It is a classic injection-molded kit of a smaller aircraft with careful detail; check the exact part count and the number of marking options against the manufacturer's part number for this item. With so few surviving originals, it is a collectible and less common subject.
The Nakajima Kikka (orange blossom) was the first Japanese jet aircraft, developed at the end of the Second World War. It came about under the influence of technical information about the German Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter, but structurally it went its own simpler way and was smaller. The prototype first flew on 7 August 1945, just before the end of the war; the aircraft never reached combat service. It therefore remains an interesting testimony to Japanese aviation development.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Paint the cockpit and the instrument panel before you close up the fuselage, and mask the clear canopy. Give care to both turbojets under the wings, which are characteristic of the real aircraft. Lay down a primer, the colors with an airbrush, apply the decals over a gloss coat and bring out the panel lines with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
