An injection-molded plastic kit of the Finnish version of the Soviet T-26 light tank in 1:72 scale. The model captures the form with a turret and a 45 mm M/38 tank gun as the Finns designated it in their service, Psv.K/38. The box usually contains finely shaped plastic parts, tracks and decals for Finnish markings.
In the middle of the 1930s the T-26 was the main light tank of the Red Army. During the Winter War of 1939 to 1940 and in later fighting the Finns captured a number of these vehicles, repaired them and modified them; in Finnish service they remained in use even after the Second World War. It was a lightly armored tank with a rotating turret and a quick-firing 45 mm gun.
In a small scale, take care over the clean fit of the hull and the running gear — finish and paint the running gear and the lower hull before closing the hull up. Glue the plastic with thin cement. A multi-color camouflage suits the Finnish look; create the patina of dust and mud with washes and pigments at the end. Check before gluing that the tracks sit properly on the wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
