A printed wallpaper sheet in 1:35 scale measuring 105x160 mm for the interiors of dioramas and part-built houses.
Responsibility details are not available.
The interior is the most sensitive place in a diorama. A bare wall painted in one shade gives away that this is a model, whereas a wall with wallpaper gives the scene scale, period and story. This sheet brings wallpaper motifs in 1:35 scale, that is in the size used by figures and models of military hardware. It comes into its own in shot-up houses, in rooms cut through by a floor and in small glimpses behind a window, where it is enough for a piece of pattern to flash past the frame.
The sheet measures 105x160 mm. In 1:35 scale that corresponds to an area of roughly 3.7 x 5.6 meters, so one sheet will cover the whole wall of a living room, or you can cut it up into several smaller pieces for different corners of the scene. The number IV in the name sets this set apart from the others in the line.
First level the wall and free it of dust, otherwise every unevenness will show through the paper. Offer the sheet up, trace it and trim it with a sharp blade along a ruler. Before sticking it down, check in the instructions whether the sheet is self-adhesive; if it is not, use a glue suitable for paper and apply it thinly so the surface does not ripple. The wallpaper can be aged by light soiling with pigment, by a tear at the ceiling or by a lifted corner under which the bare wall appears.
For builders of dioramas and scenes with figures in 1:35 scale. Glue, paints and building material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
