This color photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard is intended for the detailed improvement of the interior of the Mikoyan MiG-29 fighter, version 9-13, in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a kit. Most of the parts are printed in color and self-adhesive, so they bring the cockpit to life markedly even without demanding hand-painting – instrument panels, side panels and seat belts.
The MiG-29 is a twin-engine fourth-generation frontline fighter introduced in the 1980s. The version designated izdeliye 9-13 carries built-in auxiliary fuel tanks in the spine of the fuselage. The type still serves in a number of countries today.
Apply the small color self-adhesive parts with tweezers onto a cleaned surface. Bend the unprinted parts over an edge and bond them with super glue. In this scale a magnifier and careful work are advisable.
This is an accessory set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
