1:32 Bf 109F-2 and F-4, a double-sided die-cut mask for Hasegawa and Hobby 2000 kits covers the glazing from the outside as well as the inside.
Responsibility details are not available.
The box holds die-cut self-adhesive parts for both surfaces of the glazing of the Messerschmitt Bf 109F-2 and F-4. The cut is based on the kits from the brands Hasegawa and Hobby 2000 in this scale. The work comes down to lifting a part off the backing and laying it on the frame; the die cut itself takes care of the crisp edge.
The F version brought rounded wingtips, a cantilever tailplane without bracing struts, a smoother engine cowling and a weapon firing through the propeller hub. The F-2 carried a 15 mm MG 151 cannon, the F-4 moved to 20 mm and received the more powerful DB 601E engine. German fighter aviation went through 1941 and 1942 with this version over the Channel, over North Africa and on the Eastern Front.
In the large scales the inner side of the frames is clearly visible through the glazing. If it stays clear, every detail shows when you look into the cockpit and draws attention away from a carefully finished interior. A double-sided set solves this problem directly: you stick the inner parts on before closing the fuselage, spray the color of the interior and only then come to the outer camouflage. It also does away with the paint crumbling on the edge of the frame, which easily happens when tape is cut by hand.
