A set of colored self-adhesive 3D decals for the cockpit interior of a model of the American P-47M Thunderbolt fighter in 1:72 scale. The details are printed on a flexible film with a fine relief, so the instrument panel and the side consoles take on a three-dimensional look without the need for photo-etched parts or resin. The target kit is the Revell one.
The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was a massive single-engine fighter with a radial engine and an exhaust-driven turbocharger. The P-47M version was among the fastest piston-engine Thunderbolts; it appeared at the end of the war, among other things to chase fast targets. The roomy cockpit offers plenty of space for detailed work.
Cut the individual pieces from the sheet, lift them off the backing and place them in the right spot in the cockpit; the flexible film adapts to the shape of the plastic. For better adhesion, degrease the surfaces and, if necessary, use a drop of water-based glue or a decal softener. The colored finish saves time when completing the interior.
This is a set of decals for the interior, not a kit. The airplane model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
