The low MHU-191/M transport cart, also known under the AERO 21A designation, carries the armament from the elevator to the aircraft. This item is the variant fitted with adapters for guided missiles; the manufacturer has the version with adapters for bombs under a different number.
On an aircraft carrier the armament is stored deep below deck and travels up in stages. The last stretch to the aircraft is handled by carts just like this one: towed behind a tractor, low enough to get under the wing even with a load, and fitted with a height-adjustable cradle that lifts the weapon into the pylon. The adapters on the cradle are changed according to what is being mounted at the time, because a cylindrical missile lies quite differently from a bomb with fins. For a diorama it is an element that immediately explains what is going on in the scene.
The cart is small and much of its look comes precisely from the delicacy of the parts, so when cutting them away, take material off a little at a time. The metallic look of the load bed stands out when you set it apart from the chassis with a different shade. The wheels and the underside deserve dust and traces of use, the upper surface rather wear from repeated loading. The missiles themselves are not included, so take them from the aircraft kit or from a matching weapons set.
The product is sold as an unpainted kit for assembly.
