Firma49 1:48 American SCR-300 radio set is a resin diorama accessory faithfully capturing a portable backpack military radio set from the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely made resin (3D-printed) replica of the American portable backpack radio set SCR-300 in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of equipment but a small diorama accessory for figures and scenes. The SCR-300 was the first widely deployed backpack radio set of the infantry, operated by a radioman carrying the device on his back; in a scene it gives figures of signalers and command posts an authentic character.
Dip the resin briefly in warm water before working it, so that it softens and the supports can be cut off without chipping. In this small scale the parts are very fine, so work carefully, wash the residue off them and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The detail comes out after a base coat and a fine wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
