Two sheets of masks for the glazing of the British attack aircraft in 1:32, from the inside and the outside. The material is a pliable masking tape, which can be used repeatedly. The cut is based on one particular large-scale mold; with another edition of the same machine the shape of the glazing may differ.
The GR.4 came about through a deep upgrade of the GR.1 attack version and brought new navigation and reconnaissance equipment and the ability to carry precision-guided munitions. The machines with variable wing geometry flew over the Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, and their service ended only in 2019. In its day it was among the hardest-worked combat types of European manufacture. The two-seat cockpit with its elongated canopy is among their most conspicuous recognition features.
The glazing over two seats has a lot of frames, and when tracing by hand the differences in the width of the lines give themselves away at once. Cut parts keep the same width along their whole length, and thanks to the inner part of the set the cockpit can be sprayed in the correct order: first the interior shade, then the exterior finish. The reward is glazing that comes across convincingly and without smears.
