A set of masks for spraying the camouflage of the Vietnam War era onto models of the F-4 Phantom aircraft of versions C, D, E and G and the reconnaissance RF-4 in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is an American two-seat fighter and attack aircraft which became one of the symbols of the war in Vietnam. It served with the air force, the navy and the marines, and gradually a whole family of versions came about, among which belongs the reconnaissance RF-4 with a modified forward section of the fuselage. Over South East Asia the Phantoms carried multicolored camouflage, which followed the shape of the upper surfaces and passed on the sides into the light undersurface color.
The set covers in the individual fields of the camouflage scheme, so you do not have to judge the boundaries between colors freehand or assemble them from cut tape. The shape of the fields is given by the scheme and comes out the same on both halves of the model, which with camouflage this intricate is the hardest part. The set allows for several versions of the Phantom, and because the layout of the areas may differ from version to version, especially on the nose, keep to the schedule in the instructions during the build.
The masks are supplied on their own. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. The masks are cut according to the shapes of one particular kit, so verify the compatibility and the order of shades in the data and in the manufacturer's instructions.
