Three sheets of masks for the numbers and insignia of the Bulgarian Bf 109 E in the large 1:32 scale. The marking is sprayed instead of applied as a decal, so no carrier film remains on the finish.
Responsibility details are not available.
Three sheets with masks for the fuselage numbers, the national insignia and the striking yellow areas of the Bulgarian Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-4 and E-7 in a large scale. These are not decals: the marking is sprayed, so no glossy carrier film or its edge remains on the surface.
The Bulgarian Air Force took over nineteen machines of the E-4 and E-7 versions during the Second World War. At home they were not called Emil but Strela, that is, arrow, hence the English Arrow in the designation of the set. While the later Bulgarian Gustavs carried ordinary German camouflage, the Emils were given a markedly livelier coat: a yellow area which runs from the engine far back along the sides of the fuselage and ends in drawn-out points.
The stencils are based on the dimensions of one particular mold of the Emil in a large scale; on another kit of the same type it tends to be necessary to adjust the position slightly around the cockpit, where the forward ends of the yellow areas meet. Apply the paint in thin layers, so that it does not run under the edge, and take the mask off before the film has fully cured.
A kit and paints are not supplied with the sheets.
