A sheet of masks for the Su-25 Frogfoot attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It covers the cockpit canopy from both sides, the clear parts of the nose, the wingtip lights and the wheel rims.
Responsibility details are not available.
On a single sheet everything needed is hidden: stencils for the cabin glazing of the Su-25 attack aircraft from the outer and the inner side, for the clear parts in the tip of the fuselage, for the navigation lights at the wingtips and for the rims of the landing gear wheels.
The Su-25 came about for the direct support of ground units over a battlefield where the shooting comes from below. The cabin is therefore surrounded by a welded titanium bathtub, the engines are separated from each other by the fuselage and the machine will take damage that with faster types would mean the end. It went through Afghanistan and a number of later conflicts and after half a century it remains in the armament of dozens of countries. The long cabin with a high-set seat is conspicuous too, thanks to which the pilot has a good view down onto the target.
Besides the canopy there are also small clear parts on the model, for which tape is cut freehand badly, and it is precisely with those that a pre-cut stencil pays off most. The material is thin and adheres to the curve of the canopy without a crease; it comes off cleanly, without sticky residue, and if you do not damage it, it will serve once more. Paint the navigation lights only onto the dried base shade of the wing.
Paints and glue are not enclosed.
