In a larger scale the drawing of the insignia stands out considerably better than on small models, and that is why the Mark I brand issues the same subject in this size too. The sheet is universal and does not prescribe which kit it belongs to.
The August invasion of 1990 caught the Kuwait Air Force unprepared, yet some of the machines managed to take off and fly south to the neighbors. From there the crews then flew combat tasks until the liberation of the country in the spring of 1991. The equipment lost was replaced after the war by a new purchase and the air force re-equipped with more modern types. For a modeler it is a rewarding subject, because the machines of that time carried striking national insignia and improvised recognition stripes such as no longer appeared in later years.
Larger printed elements adapt worse to the curve of a fuselage. The proven procedure is to seat the element dry onto a wet base, squeeze the water out from the middle toward the edges and only then let the softener act. It makes the film soften and draw down to the surface, but until it has dried it must not be moved. With deeper recesses it works well to apply the thinned preparation repeatedly in several doses.
