HGW 1:32 Seat belts - Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4

This set from HGW is not a kit but a detail accessory for the cockpit. It contains seat belts made of fabric, usually laser cut, together with photo-etched metal clasps and buckles. Fabric belts can be bent and draped realistically, so the seat of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4 fighter in 1:32 scale gains a faithful look that flat plastic belts and purely photo-etched ones cannot achieve.

Use and fitting

  • Take the fabric parts out carefully and adjust the shade if needed.
  • Bend the photo-etched clasps and fit them according to the instructions.
  • Assemble the belts and glue them to the seat and into the cockpit interior.
  • The fabric is easily shaped into a natural drape.
