This detail set brings seat belts made of fine microfiber fabric, cut precisely by laser and completed with photo-etched metal clasps and buckles. The combination of fabric and photo-etch gives the belts a realistic softness as well as the metallic sheen of the fittings. Intended for models of the Albatros D.III and D.V biplane fighters in 1:48 scale.
Fabric belts can be shaped naturally and left to drape faithfully over the seat, an effect that plastic belts and purely photo-etched ones cannot achieve. The photo-etched clasps are prepared for quick fitting. It is an accessory that raises the realism of an open cockpit, not the model itself.
This is a stand-alone detail set. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
