SX-Art painting masks in 1:72 scale for a model of the AMX Ghibli light strike aircraft. The self-adhesive films follow the shapes of the canopy glazing and of other areas precisely, so that masking is quicker and more accurate than cutting tape by hand.
The AMX, known in Italy as the Ghibli, is a single-seat subsonic strike aircraft developed jointly by Italian and Brazilian manufacturers. It served for attacks on ground targets, close support and tactical reconnaissance. Thanks to its robust structure and its ability to operate from improvised surfaces it proved itself with the Italian and Brazilian Air Forces from the late 1980s.
Lift the masks off the sheet, seat them precisely on the glazing and press the edges down so that the paint cannot run under. Spray thinly with an airbrush and pull the mask off once the paint has set. The frames of the glazing then gain sharp edges and the interior stays free of overspray.
This is a mask set, not a paint or a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
