A figure of a Ukrainian soldier in 1:9 scale. A large format for figure painters and for display on its own in a display case.
Responsibility details are not available.
The figure represents a Ukrainian soldier, and the number in the name distinguishes the individual items inside the line. The 1:9 scale belongs among the large formats: a standing adult figure corresponds to roughly nineteen to twenty centimeters in it, that is several times the usual figure for a model of equipment. The figure therefore does not serve as an accessory to a scene, but as an exhibition piece in its own right, on which the face, the stitching of the cloth and the way the equipment carried is fastened can be seen.
The package contains one figure of a Ukrainian soldier in 1:9 scale. How many parts it consists of, whether a base is included and how the individual parts are fitted is stated in the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer. Large figures are usually supplied divided into the torso, the head and the limbs, so that they can be painted in parts and glued only at the end.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remnant down carefully, so that the modeling of the face and of the folds is preserved. Wash and degrease the figure before painting, as paint does not hold on a greasy surface. Apply the base layer thinly, otherwise it will clog the fine detail. Finish the face before you fit the headgear and the equipment. Choose the kind of glue according to the material of the figure and the particular procedure according to the manufacturer's instructions.
The figure is for figure painters and collectors who want one large piece for a display case and enough room for work with shades. A large format forgives fewer mistakes in the painting than small figures, but on the other hand every transition that has been managed stands out on it. Paints, glue and a display case are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
